Position Available: Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef

Job Type: Flexible – Full-time or Part-time and temporary or long term considered.

We are looking for Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to work alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team. If you have great attention to detail, experience of working in a high volume kitchen and are a team player then we’d love to hear from you.

We pride ourselves on the food we serve and as an employer we truly believe in creating a great work/life balance so NO split shifts in our kitchen, mainly daytime hours and fantastic holiday allowance.

Job Description:
Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef for an established family run business set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Kent and East Sussex Border.

Set in an idyllic riverside location, only a few miles from beautiful Rye and the coast, we are looking for the right chef to take the next step in their career. You will have experience of working in a professional kitchen and be focused on delivering exceptional meals, whilst also helping to ensure the business remains profitable. Your main duties will include prep, assisting in service, following kitchen cleaning rotas and helping to supervise junior members of the team.

Minimum Requirement:
At least 1 year experience in a professional kitchen.
Ability to keep cool under pressure.
Clean tidy & presentable
A great sense of Humour
